In the high temperatures and oil slicks of the engine compartment, or under the intense impacts of the chassis suspension, only the strongest bonds can survive. We specialize in the “vulcanization bonding” process for metal and rubber. Unlike ordinary surface bonding, we use precise metal pretreatment (sandblasting/chemical forming) and a special primer to allow the rubber to undergo a chemical cross-linking reaction with the metal under the high temperature and pressure of vulcanization molding.
